02. CID World Congress in Spain
The 27th World Congress on Dance Research will take place in Cordoba , Spain , 1-5 December 2010. Registrations are open for performances, classes, lectures, exhibitions.
03. CID World Congress in Argentina
The 28th World Congress on Dance Research will take place near Santiago del Estero , Argentina , 5-9 January 2011. Registrations are open for performances, classes, lectures, exhibitions. http://seccioncordobacidunesco.org
04. Site on dance stamps
Hundreds of new postage stamps have been added recently. Teachers are invited to encourage their young dancers to collect stamps on dance, thus realizing the great variety of dance forms, while learning geography. http://stamps-programs.orchesis-portal.org
05. Festival in China
The President of CID Prof. Raftis will be in Shanghai 25-30 September 2010 as keynote speaker at the International Performing Arts Fair. Members of the CID and other dance professionals in China can make an appointment to meet him on this occasion. www.artsbird.com

9-18 March 2012, inviting ensembles from all countries.
07. Award to a dance scholar
To present a major paper at a conference on 5 November 2010 in Buenos Aires , Argentina . The recipient of award will receive round-trip travel and associated expenses. No requirements with regard to age, field of dance scholarship, academic degree or country of residence.
08. Folk festival in Jordan
From 19 to 25/03/2011 . Performances up to 30 minutes, live or recorded music. Excursions to the Dead Sea and the Jordan River . Accommodation, meals and local transport offered.
09. Musicological conference
Dance researchers are invited to the conference "Crossroads: Greece as an intercultural pole of musical thought and creativity" organized by the Department of Music Studies of the University of Thessaloniki, Greece, 6-10 June 2011.
10. Choreography competition in Belarus
To held of 24-28 November 2010. Open to all companies in contemporary dance. Submit DVD video records of performances not later than October 1.
11. Gypsy dance festival in Spain
In Madrid , 8-10 October 2010. Workshops and show, with teachers and dancers specialized in Gypsy-Roma dances: Turkish, Hugarian, Egyptian Ghawazzi, Russian, Albanian, flamenco, Indian etc.
12. Festival in Israel
International folk festival in Israel on 3-13 July 2011. Applications are open.
13. Folk festival in Jordan
From 19 to 25 March 2011 . Inviting ensembles from all countries.
14. Ballroom dance championship in Italy
Festival and competition in Ischia 17-22 April 2011. Latin, Caribbean , tango.
